Where can I find product sizing information?

Our garments have a loose and slightly oversized fit. We recommend to buy your usual size.
You find the product sizing for every item on the product page. Sizing is in centimeter. GO TO SIZE GUIDE

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help with choosing the size of your garment.


Where are the MAGATA pieces manufactured?

All our clothes are designed in Berlin and locally produced in small laboratories in Tuscany, Italy. Smaller items are sometimes directly produced in our own Studio in Berlin.
We maintain close relationships with our suppliers and producers, regularly visiting them and following every step of the production process.

What materials are being used?

We carefully source our fabrics and materials exclusively in Italy, selecting only natural and sustainable fibers, that are healthy for you and the environment: linen, hemp, organic cotton.
We also give back life to remnant fabrics (“deadstock”), which would otherwise go to landfill.

How do I take good care of my MAGATA items?

The MAGATA pieces will accompany you for a long time, if you take good care of them.
We recommend to wash them as rarely as possible, preferably cold or at a professional dry cleaner.

Make sure to read the care label of each item. Launder in cool water and a mild detergent. When machine-washing, always wash inside-out, use the gentle cycle and promptly remove garments after washing. When hand-washing, do not wring or twist the garment. To dry, roll the item in a towel to squeeze out excess water. Lay flat to dry. Iron when still damp and with the garment inside out to prevent the fabric from becoming shiny. Use a pressing cloth when ironing the right side of the garment.

What payment methods do you accept?

For most countries you can pay by credit card: Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.
You can also pay via PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

What couriers do you use? 

We currently use UPS and DHL as our courier providers. 

Where do you ship to?

We ship from our headquarters in Berlin and Florence. We currently only ship to the US, Canada, Japan, the UK and all countries of the European Union, as well as European countries not belonging to the European Union, such as Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia.


Has my order being shipped?

If you are purchasing product from a pre-order item or collection, please refer to shipment specifications on the particular product’s details or on your order confirmation email.

If you are purchasing product that is currently in stock, please expect it to be shipped within 1-3 business days. 

Please note that in some cases, your order may arrive in multiple shipments (i.e. if you've ordered a product that is in stock and items that are made to order.)

How long will my order take to arrive?

For the EU and UK expect 3 to 7 working days delay from the moment you receive your tracking confirmation. 

For international shipments expect up to 10 working days excluding customs delays.

Please note, time may vary due to weather, customs, or any unforseen variables.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at check-out.


I want to exchange my order what should I do? 

We don't take exchanges at the moment because we produce in very limited numbers. You can return your order, we'll reimburse you and then you can make a new purchase of the new item via our web shop. You can find all the information here.


How do I return an item?

Returns must be placed within 14 days of delivery. 

We offer a free return in EU on the first order, afterwards return postage costs are the customers responsibility. 

To make a return please send an email to with the following information.

  1. Your name and address (or order number)
  2. Please specify the item that you want to return and reason why (wrong size, not as pictured, etc). The product(s) must be brand new with original tag(s), label(s) and packaging(s). If one item is defective please include the description and photos of the defect.
  3. Please allow our team 48 hours from the time you email us to get back to you with return address instructions.
  4. When returning an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service, as we are not liable for lost packages. Magata Studio is not responsible for the cost of return postage.
  5. Once we have received the returned item and inspected it we will contact you to issue a refund or store credit based on the option you prefer. 

If the product has been purchased from a retailer, please get in touch with the retailer directly for support.

Will I have to pay for return shipping?

We understand that ordering for the first time can be risky so we'll cover the return on your very first order if needed. For subsequent orders return postage is the responsibility of the customer. We'll send you the appropriate exchange/return form to include in your return package. . We are not liable for lost packages.

When will I receive my store credit?

Once the items are received and found in the initial conditions, we will issue you a refund using the same payment option chosen at check-out.
