SHIPPING & RETURNS
We ship from our headquarters in Berlin and Florence. Shipping is free on all orders above 500 euros. We currently only ship to the US, Canada, Japan, the UK and all countries of the European Union, as well as European countries not belonging to the European Union, such as Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia.
The customer must cover duties and taxes on orders sent outside the European Union.
How it works:
You will receive an email confirmation with the order number once your order is successfully placed. Please ensure your shipping address is correct, as we cannot redirect goods once they are in transit to you. Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for your tracking details to update and use this tracking number to follow the progress of your delivery.
Please note that in some cases, your order may arrive in multiple shipments (i.e. if you've ordered a product that is in stock and items that are made-to-order.)
We begin preparing your order within 72hrs after it is placed. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation can be made once your order is confirmed. To find out if a change or cancellation is possible, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our shipping providers are UPS and DHL, and the expected shipping timeframes are:
- For the EU and UK, expect a 3 to 7 working days delay when you receive your tracking confirmation.
- For Canada, US, and Japan shipments, orders are shipped with the express service. Expect 3 to 5 working days, excluding customs delays.
* Please make sure you provide the correct postal address at the time of order because if the items are returned to us we will have to charge for re-postage.
* If you do not collect your item from the post office within the time stipulated on the card and the item is returned to us, we reserve the right to charge for re-postage.
* MAGATA does not take responsibility for any delays or packages out of our control.
Customs, Taxes, Duties & Fees
When ordering from us, you are responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country that he is trying to import the product to. Please note that shipping time can be significantly delayed and in some cases the customer is required to retrieve their package from the customs office.
Shipping internationally in most cases is not an issue at all and will result in no additional fees. However, the following needs to be read and understood before ordering from our website.
Orders are, unless otherwise specified, marked as gifts when shipped. This measurement aims to avoid unnecessary customs & duties payments at the country of destination. Nevertheless, it may occur that products may be still be subjected to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. In these cases the product will only be delivered once the recipient has paid the amount due. Unfortunately, we do not have control over this but can only inform you here.
In case additional charges apply upon reception and you choose to not pay, MAGATA is not liable for any additional custom charges, and reserves the right to not refund at all shipping fees, return fees, taxes or the entire product costs.
We offer a free return in EU on the first order, afterwards return postage costs are the customers responsibility. Outside of Europe return costs are to be covered by the customer.
We do not accept exchanges at the moment because we produce in limited quantities. However, you can return your order, and we'll reimburse you. You can then make a new purchase of the new item via our web shop.
Any brand new product, that is without usage and with all accompanying materials (including the original packaging) can be returned for a full refund or store credit within 14 days of delivery.
- Here is how to process a return:
- To return your order, please send an email to email@example.com with: Your name and address (or order number).
- Please specify the item you want to return and why (wrong size, not as pictured, etc.). The product(s) must be brand new with the original tag(s), label(s) and packaging(s). If one item is defective, please include the description and photos of the defect.
- A return label will be sent to you so that you can return your package. You can drop off the package at your closest UPS/DHL drop point.
- Once we have received the return, we will inspect the item. If the item is not returned within a reasonable 14-day timeframe and is not in the conditions stated in point 2 above, you are not eligible for a refund.
- Once the returned item is inspected, we will contact you to issue a refund or store credit based on your preferred option. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
* If the product was purchased from a retailer, please get in touch with the retailer directly for support.
* If the product you received is wrong or damaged, please contact us before returning the item.
* Please use a tracked shipment to return your item in order to avoid missing parcels. Please provide us with a tracking number for the return shipment.
* If a returned item is shipped internationally, mark as "RETURNED GOODS" to avoid any customs charges. We are not responsible for any charges imposed on packages returned by customs.
* You are responsible for any damage incurred by items during the return shipment. We therefore strongly recommend that you send the products well packaged, in good condition and in their original box and/or packaging.
* In case of any product that is in unacceptable condition such as worn, used, scratched or damaged MAGATA reserves the right to deny the return claim and reimbursement. In such cases MAGATA would return the item to the buyer at the expense of the buyer.
The refund will be processed through the same payment method you used to make your original purchase. Please note that we do not offer refunds on gift cards or any discounted items, including any promotional discounts.
SALE ITEMS are final. No refunds or exchanges are accepted on sale goods. No credit note will be provided for sale items. This includes SAMPLE SALE pieces.
